Jang Dong Woo (장동우), born November 22, 1990, in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, is a South Korean rapper, singer, and performer. He is best known as a member of the boy group INFINITE, which debuted in June 2010 under Woollim Entertainment with the mini-album First Invasion. Within the group, Dongwoo serves as the main rapper and is recognized for his energetic stage presence and charismatic personality. INFINITE gained widespread popularity with hits such as “Be Mine,” “The Chaser,” and “Last Romeo,” becoming known for their powerful performances and synchronized choreography. Dongwoo also debuted in the subunit INFINITE H alongside Hoya, releasing music that highlighted a more hip-hop–focused style. In 2019, Dongwoo launched his solo career with the mini-album Bye, showcasing a more emotional and mature musical direction. Known for his bright personality, rap skills, and versatility, he continues to remain active in music, variety shows, and other entertainment activities.
