Description

Seungkwan, full name Boo Seung Kwan, is a South Korean singer and entertainer, known for being a main vocalist in the popular K-pop boy group SEVENTEEN. Born on January 16, 1998, in Busan, South Korea, he was raised in Jeju-do. Seungkwan is a Capricorn, and he stands at a height of 174 cm. SEVENTEEN, under Pledis Entertainment, is a self-produced K-pop group consisting of 13 members, with Seungkwan being a part of the vocal unit. The group debuted on May 26, 2015, with the mini-album “17 Carat.” Apart from his work with SEVENTEEN, Seungkwan is also a member of the special unit BSS, alongside members Hoshi and DK. His career in entertainment extends beyond music, as he has also been recognized for his contributions to variety shows. In 2018, he won the Rookie Award (Music and Talk) at the MBC Entertainment Awards for his performance on "Unexpected Q" and his appearance on "King of Masked Singer." Seungkwan's journey in the music industry started when he was recruited by Pledis Entertainment in 2012, after which he underwent training for over three years before debuting with SEVENTEEN
