Kangta, whose real name is Ahn Chil-hyun, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and producer born on October 10, 1979, in Seoul, South Korea. He first rose to fame as the main vocalist of the legendary K-pop boy group H.O.T., which debuted in 1996 under SM Entertainment and became one of the pioneers of modern K-pop. Known for his powerful vocals and emotional ballads, Kangta quickly established himself as one of the most respected singers of his generation. After H.O.T. disbanded in 2001, Kangta launched a successful solo career with albums such as Polaris and Persona, showcasing his smooth vocal style and songwriting abilities.
