Kang Yuchan (강유찬), born December 31, 1997 in Jeju, South Korea, is a singer, dancer, and actor currently under Way Better. He debuted as Chan with the boy group A.C.E on May 23, 2017, under Beat Interactive and Swing Entertainment. In 2017, he participated in The Unit, placing 9th and subsequently debuted with the temporary project group UNB in April 2018. Yuchan is known as the maknae and main vocalist of A.C.E, contributing to their distinct performance style and group identity. He expanded into acting with a lead role as Son Bo‑hyun in the web drama Twenty‑Twenty (2020). On August 16, 2022, he enlisted for mandatory military service and returned on February 15, 2024. In 2023, he transitioned to using his birth name professionally and signed with Way Better in April 2025 to launch his solo career. He debuted solo with the digital single "Champagne Poppin’" in July 2025. With a strong vocal foundation, charismatic stage presence, and growing acting and musical-theatre pursuits, Kang Yuchan is evolving into a multifaceted solo artist.
