Minzy, whose full name is Gong Min-ji, is a South Korean singer, dancer, and songwriter born on January 18, 1994, in Seoul, South Korea. She first rose to fame as a member of the influential girl group 2NE1 under YG Entertainment, debuting in 2009 with the hit single “Fire.” Known for her powerful dancing and charismatic stage presence, Minzy quickly gained recognition as one of the strongest performers of her generation. During her time with 2NE1, the group achieved massive success with songs such as “I Am the Best,” “Lonely,” and “Come Back Home,” becoming one of the most iconic K-pop groups of the early 2010s.
